He may look tame.. but he's an honest to goodness wild goose, and the father of a family.. he and his mate have 5 offspring.. they're adolescents now.. will soon be full grown.. it's been a lovely Spring and Summer watching this family grow up. He'll come up quite close to see if there's anything good for his family to eat.. and stops and looks at me when I talk to him ... but I don't approach too closely, and don't want to interfere with his natural caution about humans...
